Welcome to Our Dickensian Costume Competition
Join us for a celebration of Charles Dickens’ literary world, where participants showcase their finest Victorian-era costumes. Whether you’re dressing as a wealthy industrialist, a humble street urchin, one of Dickens’ beloved characters, or prefer a Steampunk interpretation of these, then this competition is for you!
The competition features separate categories for adults and children, with prizes awarded for authenticity, creativity, and attention to detail.
Costume contests will be held at Leaside church—the kids’ competition will be judged at 7 pm, with the adults’ at 8 pm.
