Ware Dickensian Evening starts at 6:30pm on Friday 5th December 2025 and will finish at 10:00pm.

What roads will be closed during Ware Dickensian Evening?

The following roads will be shut from 6pm to 10pm:

Amwell End between Broadmead’s and Viaduct Road
High Street between New Road and Priory Street, including West Street and East Street
Baldock Street between Priory Street and the junction with the Watton Road Roundabout
Church Street between Crib Street and High Street

Where can I park for Ware Dickensian Evening?

We encourage all event attendees to try and use public transport where available and possible.

All public car parks (except for the Library car park) will be available throughout the evening and will be free from the early evening (these parking areas fill very quickly)
