As your local brass band we are delighted to once again be bringing the festive spirit by playing carols at the Dickensian evening. A small group of the band will perform your favourites, feel free to sing along, and we take requests too!

Sarah Ellen Hughes is a local jazz singer with an international reputation. A former winner of Jazz Voices competition and previously principal vocalist for the National Youth Jazz Orchestra. She will be delivering her own jazzy take on Christmas for us.
7:45pm - 8pm | Costume comp results - kids
Entrants for the Young Persons’ Costume Competition should assemble at Leaside Church by 7.45 pm.
Judging will be by Cllr George Williams, the Leader of Ware Town Council.
Entrants must be under 16 and in a Dickensian or Dickensian-inspired costume.

Ware Ukulele Group was founded in June 2015, and has grown and thrived in the decade since. A regular part of local events, they specialise in songs you’d never expect on a ukulele – think Sultans of Swing, Africa, Another Brick in the Wall and more!
This Dickensian Evening, they’ll bring all your festive favourites to Ware Drill Hall.

The Twelve Tongues are a dynamic musical trio who are masters of the party atmosphere. They deliver their infectious, feel-good sound through expertly blended, signature three-part harmonies.
Bringing electric energy and undeniable rhythm to every stage, The Twelve Tongues ensure that every performance is a spirited, high-energy event designed to get the audience moving.

Asteroids Majorettes is a local group based in Albury that promotes the sport of baton twirling whilst building confidence and community. We compete with MTU and were awarded overall small troupe in 23/24 and 24/25.

HIT runs fully inclusive drama workshops, like Activate Ware, and produces vibrant, entertaining, participant-led shows across the county.
We use the arts and playfulness to nurture belonging and facilitate empowerment.
Everyone is welcome (16+); our spaces are free of judgment and gatekeeping.
